Speaking of zero duplicate mod, in another post I was told that it is ok to remove this from my robots file:
Disallow: /post
...because I have zero duplicates installed. Would you confirm this? |

GOOGLE just indexed my site again. Finally!!! some of the optimized pages are appearing in the results, however, I am confused about this one:

No. For some reason I did not have that mod installed. Even though I had it listed as an installed mod. I just installed it now. Very easy. Could that explain the strange results that appeared in google? What exactly does the guest session mod do?

the guess session remove mod will remove this part of your URLs

phpbb use this session ID for tracking guest and members.
phpBB uses specific urls for each visitor. You will often see those as a string of numbers in the browser address bar. These numbers will track you via cookies and serve pages specific to your "session". A session can be any time limit and then it expires. Sites use these sessions to serve custom content, defeat browser caching, and to direct the flow of visitors through the website.
this SIDs are harmful for search engine bots. you must remove them for guests (because all bots will crawl your forum as a guest).  |
