Hi,
First, let me say thank you for this great Advanced mod Rewrite. I'm using version 0.2.4.
It was installed successfully and the current result is amazing. The URLs look prettier and Google Adsense ads in viewforum.php and viewtopic.php are now showing much more relevant ads. Migrating from Able2know is also seamless thanks to the tips you've mentioned in other topics.
However, I also notice that in pages with lots of URL translation such as viewforum.php or search.php, it could take a while to render a list of topics. In fact, my viewforum.php can't render 50 topics per page. It stopped in the middle of the process. I have to reduce it to display 25 topics per page before viewforum.php can render the page completely.
I'm using PHP 5.1, MySQL 4.1 and phpBB 2.0.23.

Thanks for checking the URL.
Strange. Now, it's pretty zippy here too. I wonder if it had to do with my internet connection.
I guess I should wait and see if there will be another slow rendering. |

Glad you appreciate our work here
Our mods are pretty fast and light, they should not makes this much difference in page load. But for sure, if you get more visitors using our mods, you'll need a better server some day
50 topic per forum page is of course more work than 25, but if it was previously working nicely, I think the reason is to be searched elsewhere.
The main one could have been, in addition to the eventual Internet access possible issues, the massive redirecting phase, when you switched from the able2know mod to our mods. Usually, SE start a massive crawling when they face massive redirection, like if they want ed to be really sure about them.
Since the zero duplicate as well take care of post duplicate, it make even more redirection.
It usually ends after a week or two.
So it could have been this, didn't you see anything in your server stats ?
