Migration from phpbb 2.18 Advanced mod Rewrite

What's your reccomendation to move from a fully indexed phpbb 2.18 running phpbb-SEO Advanced mod rewrite - http://www.phpbb-seo.com/boards/advanced-mod-rewrite-vf46/ and all your modes (zero dupes, title page etc...) to phpbb3 with Advanced Mod Rewrite?

My first advice would be, take the time to test phpBB3. Many new features to deal with.

Our premod is handy to do this, and it will allow you to play with all mod rewrites at once.

Because the next thing would be to define your URL standard. With the phpBB SEO mod rewrite you can accurately choose it, since you can change pretty much anything used in these : static part, delimiters and suffixes.

It's only when you have make you mind about the url standard that we will be able to tell which rewriterules should be implemented to allow the redirecting of the previously used.
It as well possible to keep the exact same URL standards for forums and topics, if your previous standard fullfield you can keep it, just a matter of settings. If so, only the category links (not forums) will have to get redirected, since they are converted to forum without posts in phpBB3.
