This is very irritating setting SEO up..

the HTML is there, but keep getting 404 error pages, every
single time i set this script up its always the same problem..
the hta is in root, do i need to chmod anything?

When SEO is disabled, the forum works again, once i enable
it, I can see the html catagories, and i get 404 error...

Any of you pro's know what I am doing wrong?

host does have mod rewrite

ISSUSE FIXED:

in my case, it was looking at the extra options, all of them turned off
except for the last one, which was yes, then process your
hta then upload it to your root or forum root or whatever it
goes, it worked right away (after 3 hours)
