I'm installing the advanced Rewrite soon, and have a question.
My forum is located at http://zyetendo.com but soon I plan to move to to -http://zyetendo.com/community.
So, what would I do as for a robots.txt file? Should I wait the install until I move the forum?
Is there a way, when I move, to make all the forum URLs redirect to the /community folder? |

Well, first, this is the worst case as far as redirecting. Because it's most likely not possible to redirect all calls to the root level to the community dir, unless you plan to never use the root level.
So, re-directions will have to be done on a per case basis in your case.
You may as well consider keeping the forum at the root level, since it will allow you to use shorter URLs and this is a good thing when using the virtual folder trick. This would be my advice in your case.
If you really want / need to move your forum, you'll have to implement redirections. If your url previously where url rewritten, it won't be difficult, if not, it will be a bit more work.
So, if you where using url rewriting and still want to move your forum, please post here your working in root .htaccess and I'll tell you what to do
