I test it in many topics here with 2 or more pages.

Could this have some relations to a wrong SEO setup?
Edit:
I did a check on proper mod code and all seem in place for viewforum.php. |

I checked for mod code kingmob and did see not all code was there.
With all seo code in search.php it does not work anymore now. |

It's possible that you downloaded the very first version of the released mod_rewrite, which had a small bug with pagination.
Make sure you have the proper code by downloading the mod again, check includes/functions.php and includes/function_display.php, the generate_pagination and topic_generate_pagination functions

That was the important hint. I downloaded a fresh copy and did review the whole code. Works like a charm now  . |
