Moving SEO forum to another domain.

Hello

I have moved my Advanced SEO Premod board to another domain.
Everything is working fine except the SEO Smile

I am getting NOT FOUND when navigating the board.

I guess that it has something to do with the SEO cache.
How do I correct this.

BTW. I am only testing to find out how I move a SEO Board.
My real board is live and running fine Smile

no i think it is related to htaccess's setting (in ACP-phpbb-SEO)
do it again with your new domain

I actually did that several times last night.
But I must have made some kind of error cause it works now.

Was the config to update isn't it ?

In addition, make sure you properly redirect the old domain to the new one, in order to keep your current SERPs and ranking.

I am not 100% sure what the problem was...

I tried everything the night I moved the forum:
Deleting content of cache folder, refreshing templates, changed the config table, new .htaccess upload etc.
Nothing worked.

The next day I did a new .htaccess upload - again Smile

And it worked.

It was only for testing my skills and bigdump Very Happy

No redirecting will be needed.

Mysqldumper is as well a good thing to try while you're at it, does the same as bigdump, as well a many other usefull things Wink

I heared the announcement that alexa has changed its ranking algorithm. I am little happy with this change because my website got little improvment. see new alexa ranking for http://www.alexa.com/data/details/main?url=www.fortunehotels.in Fortune Park Hotels Ltd.
