It must be a forum url without id then.

About your .htaccess, it's just meant to be used above the phpbb/ directory, as told in red bold by the .htaccess generator.

If you need to, you can generate one meant to be used in the phpbb/ dir, to do so, hit the "more option" option, and then, the "alternate location" one, and hit submit Wink

I just check Back slash option in more option and click Submit button.

Yes I have corrected following your instruction.....

But there is the same error....

I don't know what exactly is real problem. I tried do a lot ways to reach successful project.

Could you tell more exactl help?

Can you post here the resulting .htaccss and tell me where did you put it ?

As well, you need to make sure there is only one set of rewriterules for phpBB (eg one and only one .htaccess).

thank I corrected the previous problem.

But I have another one problem; that is , I installed new style named Hestia from stsoftware.biz website. I installed completedly. then some themes could not be appeared.

Before I added premod rewrite. it appeared all themes and in all pages. But now it's not.

I don't know what is the problem.

Could you give me where to correct?

You just need to apply the template code change from the seo mod on all your theme, either prosilver or subsilver2 should match pretty well.

I recognized it match, but I would like to use other style.

Could you tell where is seo mod code change for custom style like Hestia?

As I said, you need to try to apply the code change for prosilver or subsilver2 on your theme, usually it works well because theme are often based on one or the other and the change we need are very light.

It's all a matter to find out which on is the good one, if you do not have a forum_fn.js in your template dir, then it's most likely based on subsilver2, otherwise it's the opposite.

Try this, and report about the part that are causing trouble if any, post a zip file of the problematic templates and we'll sort this out Wink

In any category topic pages or other pages that is sublink pages, it always linked to invalid page url of images and styles. for instance, as I right-clicked on all invalid link items, it shown the path like this -http://vanndy-billing/phpbb/vpn/styles/hestia/imageset/site_logo.gif and other -http://vanndy-billing/phpbb/vpn/styles/hestia/imageset/newtopic_button.gif

but the real urls is not that. that is -http://vanndy-billing/phpbb/styles/hestia/imageset/site_logo.gif and other -http://vanndy-billing/phpbb/styles/hestia/imageset/newtopic_button.gif etc....

it mean that it always embeded category name or topic name in the next domain name. for example -http://vanndy-billing/phpbb/vpn/styles/hestia/imageset/site_logo.gif or -http://vanndy-billing/phpbb/network/styles/hestia/imageset/site_logo.gif. it make my topic page show only text.

Note : VPN or Netowrk is topic name and category name.

Could you help me correct it?

Well, this is why you need to apply the code change to all your style, you at least add the first code change for overall_header.html in all your themes.

Maybe you want to use the SEO premod instead, would not involve code change ...
