SID not removed?

When activated SID Remove to yes with advance Rewrite option, it doesn't work as I logged in. when it become guest , not log in, SID removed 100% .

I don't know why?????????

Could you explain me?

It's just that they are not supposed to be removed in such cases, there is no need to and it could jeopardize sessions.

There are no SIDs when you are logged in AND allow cookies. Else SIDs should not be removed - they are needed to identify a user.

Well, if no sid is passed to phpBB3, then the session is lost, the user gets logged out. The sid can be passed though a cookie and / or through the GET and POST vars sent to the server.

So, user who do not accept cookies must use an SID in the url, since it's not the case with bots (only with real users), it's really not an issue. Besides, the zero duplicate mod will redirects URLs with SIDs for logged in user accepting cookies as well as outdated SIDs.

This mean that even if a link get posted with an sid somewhere and followed by someone, it will be redirected since the sid won't match.

SID are dealt with very well by our mods, there is no SEO threat at all with these.

I have other problem...

I am posting an internal link without sid in post, when click, I am loging out.

Is there any solution?
