Hello,
My apologizes in advance for making my very first thread as a request but i need help.
so i have this website as addon domain, i made a phpbb forum and put it in folder called forum
so, the main domain is:
through cpanel, i made an addone domain (domain points to sub folder)
-http://www.site2.com which in fact point to -http://site2.site1.com
now i made a forum in site2, which supposedly be:
but for some reasons it keep redirect me to:
is there a way using .htaccess (or others) to make:
to be redirected to
-http://site2.com/forum
would appreciate the help |

And welcome
To me if :

Then, it's pretty normal that :

Since you are redirecting the first one to the second one.
site2.com goes to site2.site1.com, in all cases with your settings.
So in the end I think it's more something dealing with domain settings than something requiring a redirection.
Can't you just install site2.com in a separate folder, not linked with the sud domain site2.site1.com ? |
