Migration from vb to phpbb3

hi
i have my forum on vb
i want to migrate it in phpbb
is there any easy way to do that
i would be very thank full to you guys
if you can help me out
and also i would like to know that which version of phpbb is good
and in which version of phpbb i can put my forum from vb without losing any kind of data

There is a conversion script from vb to phpBB2 for sure, available at phpbb.com, but I'm not sure there is one already to go directly to phpBB3.

You can still first convert to phpbb2 and then to phpBB3. It should be as safe but a little longer. I never had to do vb to phpbb conversion, but some user here did with success.

Try searching a bit, you should find the threads in case you need more info.

i converted my forum from vb to phpbb it was sucsessful but the problem is i lost the attachments is their any way where i can get it fully without losing attachments and directly move it to phpbb3 and also i want to know where i can Vista X Skin, developed by John Olsen.... i would be thank full for your great help

I don't thinks there is an easy solution for attachments, unless the problem already was covered in the vBulletin 3.0.x to phpBB thread.

Try asking there, someone may have already found a solution. If not, I'm afraid you'll have to code something for this, worth it IMHO.
