I use google webmaser tools and have submitteed google sitemap etc using the mx sitemap mod etc....
the dat of last accessing home page has been going backwards now for about a week
last time it showed july 9--now it says april 20
this is all for http://www.asia-expatsforum.com/phpBB2 where i have my sitemap located
Googlebot last successfully accessed your home page on Apr 20, 2006 and about 800 pages indexed
for http://www.asia-expatsforum.com it shows
Googlebot last successfully accessed your home page on Sep 18, 2006 .
with over 12000 pages indexed--
can anyone explain this strange behavior |

Lol, Google really is joking sometime
So the travel in time you describe is most likely to end up by itself.
For the stats, I think the redirection from the main domain to the phpBB2/ folder, even being a genuine HTTP 301, is here possibly causing "trouble".
No big deal IMHO, but the search queries performed specifying a folder seems to be more strict than the one querying for all site. But you could one day decide to use your "standard" home page
Comparing a bit the two listings, the one without the phpBB2/ folder gives a lot of URLs with SIDs, coming from the blog-mod, and they are a lot fewer in the other one.
So this could mean the filters are less strict when the query is more general, or that some updates in the data centers are going on, the two search queries being performed in two different ones, who knows.
Then, looking at the way your new URLs are spidered and cached, it's going very well beside all of them are ending up in the omitted results (this does not mean they do not show up out in the search results, but ...).
I think this come from the fact you repeat the same exact meta tags for all.
Consider installing the dynamic meta tag mod it will for sure help out.
