Hi,
Google shows no back-links for my board while Yahoo finds 42.
Some of them are a few month old. What is the reason for that?
How can I make Google recognize them? Does that mean, that Google does not count these links for my index yet? |

Well google does not tell us a lot with the link: command.
We can even hardly take the list as the best backlink list, since I often see backlinks from obscure post one will indexed domains as well providing with a backlinks on the home page.
Only the amount makes a bit of sense, but since the quality means more and more and that google does not necessarily shows the bests links, it's not a very meaningful measurement.
In your Google webmsater's account, if you have one, Google tells us a lot more about the links he knows about, but even there, I think that Google does not tells us all, because Yahoo will often show a lot more ...
About the updates, they are made periodically, it was originally linked to massive Data centers updates, but since DC updates have become a lot more continuous, this has become kind of like google telling us what he wants when he wants. usually, the backlinks update occurs a bit before the PageRank one, every two to four month generally.
So at least, it normal that you still do not see any backlinks, some wil eventually show up during the next update or export, the previously called Google Dance
