Now 4 days I had estimated future PR 4.9 , and now its down to 4.1 ... I checked up only with your tool . What happened ?
How can I make more more backlinks ? If , for example in a phpbb board , in overall_footer.tpl is a link to my board , and that board has x pages . I will get x backlinks or just 1 ? It will highly increase the PR ?
And if a site, instead of putting links to my site, is directly redirecting to mine , this increases highly the PR , more that the backlinks are doing on the same site?

We started to elaborate a bit on PageRank theory in this thread.
The thing about the amount of link returned buy each search engine is they all do more or less what they want.
Google knows of many more links than the one he takes into account, Yahoo seems to show the complete amount of known links, and MSN is in between.
And this does not tell us anything about the way they actually use these datas.
If yahoo! tells you've got 2000 backlinks and Google only 100, it does not mean you'll get better ranked on Yahoo.
About Google PageRank prediction, it's a prediction, so it' not like it will never be wrong.
It's Live PageRank, the Pagerank you'd have if the DC updates would occur right now and it is always moving a bit.
The interesting matter about this tool is to follow the evolution.
If you've got a big difference between the PR you have and the one predicted, it's telling you in which direction it should end up to go 
Then you'd better have 100 backlinks from 100 different domains than 100 on a single one.
Google generally counts more than one backlink when a web site is back-linking on all pages, but will not show all.
It's obvious there is some dumping.
As well, good backlinks are the one coming from highly ranked pages and the most related to your content. They can link the home or be deep backlinks, both are needed to build up a nice ranking

And if a site with N/A PR put a link to my site , my site won't increase in PR ?
If a site, instead putting a link to my site, puts a redirection script that , if a user enter that site , it will go to mine , my PR will increas higher than if on that site will pe links to my site ? ( the site is pr 0 )
And how do I get lots of backlink ? Is there a site that offers that kind of publicity ? I am submited in a lot of web directories . Also, if you know some very good directories with high ranking and i don't have to put banner to them please let me know , and post a link to them .
L.E. : When I search in google for a keyword , the list is sorted by PR ? |

I did not even get the redirection matter, are you wondering about which would be the bets : a link (text or image) vs a redirection (which kind ?)
Usually, when links are in the end using a redirection, for example in a web directory script, it's something to avoid, because the idea behind it is as a matter of fact to not transmit PageRank.
The only redirection that could transmit PR is an http 301, but I never so an http 301 being used this way (did not search much as well).
Usually, you'll fin http 302, which are the worst, they actually do the contrary of PR transmission, the risk is really to see the http 302 source become more important than the target, which is really not the goal here.
Other types of redirections, such as JS or meta refresh are to avoid too, but they won't harm, it's just they won't transmit any PR.
The only type of links that matters is hard href links, images or text, just like the ones we offer in our directory.
About link exchange anr directory, please use our directory forum. It's often a good investment to run a partner page with links backs to the directories we are using.
And no the Google SERP list is not sorted by PageRank |

But i have still one more question, the most important in my opinion , for me .
On the http://galatiforum.com I have :- 0 Google Backlinks
- 720 MSN BackLinks
- 1618 Yahoo! Backlinks
On the http://www.galatiforum.com I have :- 205 Google Backlinks
- 740 MSN Backlinks
- 404 Yahoo! Backlinks
I used this tool to find out .
How can I ... merge these domains ( i don't know how to say, maybe you understand what I am trying to say ) so that when I check the backlinks of http://www.galatiforum.com it will show me the Backlinks of http://galatiforum.com + http://www.galatiforum.com ?
Please, I need a precise answer of my issue . Thanks in advance . |

hi
you can not merge the result but you can Lock WWW in URL.
by using this trick you can say to google thst only pick up on of that domain (with www or without it). |

In that thread, dcz explains the 301 part. re directing a URL with 301 means that you will not lose any PR from your none www URL's at Google, Yahoo or any place. that is always a good thing.  |

as peter77 said you won't lose your backlinks. all link with www or without www will redirect to one of the (which one that you prefer)
this trick will help you to gain better pagerank not losing pagerank |

Another question, what this backlinks really mean ? If I have for example 100 Google Backlinks , it means that a link to my site is on 100 different sites ? |

Not so much that they "move" or merge, but say for example all your site's URL's out there, that you've put out, people who link back, that have been crawled, ect with no "www" will be counted as or redirected to "www" with 301.
Your PR can increase with time. phpbb-SEO MODs and patches help tremendously along with keeping your site active with fresh content.
Yes, pretty much sites or directorys that link back to you. I have found Google to be pretty stubborn yet generous at the same time. For almost a year Google shows only 8 backlinks to my site, sometimes 47 from tools for Google. despite that, it has given me PR 4. meanwhile, yahoo will show 3,000+ backlinks to my site. |
