My site results in google

Whenever I make a search in google which lists results from my site, most of results are as follows:

Google either uses the meta description content, when the keywords are matching it or if you perform a general query without keywords 'such as : site:phpbb-seo.com) or the page's content, when some keywords are matching the query (like : http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=phpBB3+url+title+injection).

Now, if your web site does not have any met keywords and descriptions tags, or if they are not dynamic (which is even worst), Google will have trouble to select the description to show one queries that do not match content (like site: etc ...).

The default description seems more or less random in such cases, but this does not imply that it will be the case when keywords are found in the page.

Since you are using phpBB here, you should consider installing the dynamic meta tags mod together with the optimal tilte one.

You'll get more focused and SEOed titles and dynamic meta tags Wink

Thanks for the help.

Actually my site did not have any meta tags and now after installing those two modifications I hope that google will display the contents of my posts while doing queries like site:mysite . How long will it take google to respond to the changes that I have made?

Well, the meta tags mod does not use the post content to build up the meta desc, but yes, Google will use them for queries such as site:mysite.com, the same way it is done here : http://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Aphpbb-seo.com

Talking about how long will it take, it depends on how fast is your site crawled and cached. Each time a page will be re cached, it will be updated in the listing and will use the meta descriptions in general search queries.

Ok so google has indexed my site OurKtm but still the results are the same. I installed the dynamic meta tag and optimal title mod.

It's a bit early to talk about SERP on a wide variety of keywords.
You forum is young and still not ranked so patience is virtue.

Google did not re cache all of your pages so far, but you can already see the meta description showing up on some pages : http://www.google.com/search?q=site:http://www.ourktm.com/

Work on the content and on the backlinks, that's what is the more important in the end. SEO is optimization, thus optimization of something.

With time, you'll see things growing.

Time really is important, especially at the beginning. Being already fully indexed by Google is a good result with 3 Google backlinks Wink
