|

| Hi, I have a website which is heavily reliant on groups. I use the group system to manage an extensive database of bands. When a user decides they like a certain band, they can "Add the band to Profile" AKA, join the group. The display of the group page has been converted to an artist bio, images, albums, similar artists, MP3's, videos, etc. I'd like to have the RSS feed and the sitemap contain all of my groups so that the bots could easily crawl them and help people find my artist pages. |

Right now there are only 1400 groups.
You see, the purpose of my site is to create a social network for people who listen to Metal. When a person looks up a band, I use about 5 API's to look up information on the artist. If the artist is not tagged on last.fm as some genre or sub-genre of metal (or similar) then the artist will not display. If the user clicks on a band that is not in my database and they are identified as a metal band, a group is created and the page is displayed. The user has no idea they just added the band to my database. All information pulled from the API's are cached in the PhpBB cache folder and most information is renewed if the cache is older than a week.
This site is only in Beta, so no users other than myself roaming around at the moment. |

Oh yes, for now.
Eventually I'll be making a broader version that encompasses all genres of music. Then I may need more than 50,000. =P
So you're saying there's no functionality for this right now? Well, maybe I'll just write my own until you finish yours. =P |
