Hi there, bit confused.
My forum is in / so no changes other than the copy/paste should be needed.
However, my problem is I have no .htaccess file in / or anywhere for that matter.
Does this mean I can not run this mod?
Can I create a .htaccess file and if so how?

The Install documentation are a little confusing in my opinion.
Ido not have PHPBB-SEO mod installed yet.
So do I just follow steps 1-5 and edit the 7 files and that's it?
Or do I have to edit .htaccess files or does the install php file do this? |

Well there should be an .htaccess in the phpBB dir, if there is not, you can grab it from the phpBB3 package.
You'll need to add :
| Code: | RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase / |
before the GYM sitemaps rewriterules.
This being said, there is no real point to url rewrite the gym sitemaps urls if your forum is not using any url rewriting, GYM will work without as well.
