Now what? I removed Gun-Zip compression and all cached files. And resubmit maps. |

In the last night I find out some errors in my file phpbb_seo_class and early this morning I made new phpbb_seo_class file. Here is it:
[mod]we know the code[/mod]
It seems works properly. I resubmit sitemaps some times after corrections in options but Google again find errors. Now I remove styling. And agayn - errors...
Now I restrict my maps in robots.txt.
How can I test my maps for errors? For me all works excellent but not for Google. I don't know where is the error.
Here are my maps. If you can, please test it. |

First, why posting a new thread when you already posted on for the same topic ?
Things have already been enough confused in your case for you not to add complexity in support IMHO.
Then, you sitemap works great, unrewritten, since on the other post you where having trouble with mod rewrite as well.
The idea is to submit when you can actually browse the sitemap pages, which now is the case, if you did before this, no doubt Google told you the obvious.
If you resubmit it now, it will work.
And please, try no to post too much code in your post, it's only making them impossible to read. If you really need to show us an entire file code, send a link to a zip file. |

Thanks for your patience. I will not write in this way in my posts. Please merge the topics!

Well, I can browse all the sitemap pages now and before resubmiting. I resubmit the maps 3 times before my last post but Google all times find errors. I have another 2 maps in xml, compare the sitemaps.xml with them. I don't see any difference in the codes and building method, but Google don't like my new sitemaps.xml. With another 2 maps I don't have troubles. Here are google_sitemap_forums and google_sitemap_topics. I will be thankful if you see them and give me some advices
What can I do?
Thanks again! |

But : no errors on sitemapindex
And no error on sitemaps
By the way, you should not submit any other sitemaps for your forum, it's useless and the mod you're using for this are most likely not using any cache, thus waisting quite some resources. |

This is fully right, but for now I don't sure in this how Google will accept my sitemaps.xml.
It is OK, I will remove other maps. Now I will submit again.
EDIT
Damn! Again...

Why in my gs_cache folder now I have 10 zips and 2 xml maps? Maybe it's importantly?
Why if I test my urllist.txt the browser write urllist.txt.gz? If I clear cache opens urllist.php.
I don't use Gun zip compression in the moment in my maps, only in the board's DB.
Maybe if Google read .xml.gz this is the reason for errors?
What is wrong in my maps?
EDIT
I remove Gun zip compression in my DB. Now in gs_cache folder I have only txt and xml files but Google again find errors.

But if I click Details, I see:

No errors or warnings found. |
Am I crazy? Or Google is crazy?

Today I found out a new BIG problem. After installing GYM Sitemaps my Bulgarian encoding Windows-1251 was damaged and now the search in my board don't find nothing from bulgarian words. My DB use utf8_general_ci.
After the install DB decrease from 16 to 7.5 MB. In MySQL phpbb_word_search_list now I have many ????? instead words and search maybe ignore it.
I uninstall GYM Sitemaps but this don't change nothing.
EDIT
In my DB I replaced all the tables which name contains "word" with the same ones from the backup. The problem disappeared but if I start rebuilt_search, the problem appears again.
Help me please! What can I do? I will wait for your advices. Where in DB your mod modify encogings? |

Man, there is absolutely no relation between gym sitemap module and the search and word tables, and even less with the rebuild search table mod so ...
You may only be processing a sanity clean up of you search tables, it's not necessarily meaning more than you previously had about 10mo of useless words there (even though it's a high proportion). |

Yes, you are RIGHT! Sorry for my panic. This was my error. I have installed Optimizing phpBB meta keywords but I was astray from my DB encoding utf8_general_ci and place 3 letters fix by Giefca for utf-8.
After that all more then 380 000 bulgarian words was lost in my search DB.
Now I find out my error and all is OK.
I so sorry for embarrassing. I feel ashamed.
I will install again GYM but I don't understand why Googe find errors in it.
I appreciate your help!
I have some questions:
- what I must do with xs_gym_xml.cfg and xs_gym_txt.cfg ?
- can I remove RSS map and how? I don't need it.
Thanks in advance!
EDIT
I have installed GYM again and again Google don't like it:
| Code: | Filename Format Type Submitted Last Downloaded Status URLssubmitted
sitemaps.xml Sitemap Index Web 17 minutes ago 3 minutes ago Errors 454 |
And Details:

Hi friends!
In my board Fallout Vault BG I have again problems with Google bots and I have some questions. In last week several times I get error in Google Webmaster Tools - all my forums have same priority or any my forums have many dynamic content.
I don't know what is dynamic content for bots - maybe YouTube movies or another... and don't know what to remove.
But all forums priority is 1.0 - it's right. In my GYM sitemaps options I have:
Announcement Priority 0.5
Sticky Priority 0.75
Default Priority 1.0
My questions:
1. What is highest priority?
2. My forum2 is my news forum. Some times I have comments, some times - not. How to mark forum2 to give him highest priority if some topics are only one post?
3. Why some my posts from 14th March (examle: http://wasteland-bg.com/phpbb2/topic898-30.html 2008-03-14T17:22:32+00:00 always 0.50) are marked as Announcements and how to correct it?
4. What do you think about dynamic content?
Thanks in advance! |

It's a new check that did not exist before. Google is asking for more accuracy in the sitemaps it seems.
GYM 2.x will play with dynamic priorities and changefreq
Until then, I don't think this will be a real issue, at least not for the moth to come, since Google dealt with this before and still have the lastmod tag to find out about content update. |
