Ok, i'll give this a whirl.
Music-Web is a forum i set up about 4 weeks ago. Music-Web was orginally hosted on invision free but after 2 months of being annoyed that the service was totatlly crap! So i turned to phpBB and created a new forum and purchased some hosting and a domain. About 4 weeks ago it went live and many members of the old forum have transferred over.
The forum is based around music but more specifically classical music, music theory, vst instruments and other aspects of music.
The forum has many features such as the online music centre where members can post their music for other members to rate and comment on. Music-Web also has it own music encylopedia which is in wiki form and has over 1000 pages in it.
The fourm is small now but I hope one day it grows into something realy special.
Current the forum uses SEO Urls (Search phpbb.com),mx Google Sitemaps, and phpBB SEO Dynamic Meta Tags. |

Thanks!, I think the SEO urls mod rewrites everything unless you tell it not to. So, I didn't do it i'm afraid |

oh I see.
I have chosen the other way around while developing the phpBB SEO mod rewrites, because I though the most important was to go as fast as possible and not to interfere with any other process.
The rewrite core code is designed to minimize the use of useless code, meaning for example that most of it would not even be activated at all in the blog mod, unless you decide so.
Then, this mean, you have to perform few code changes in php files, but, in the end, those are very easy and this makes the code ready to rewrite any phpBB mod. As well, the design allow to accept extra parameters with no changes.
For example if one would want to add a special GET var in some phpBB files, for some administrative use, he could code it the exact same way he'd do it without mod rewrite. The RegEx would just push this new var at the end of the URL (something like title-vtxx.html?custom_var=yy) which would work right away
