MSN Bot not visiting my site!

Msn Bot hasn't visited my site since Mar. 17 (I submitted my url to msn this day)

What would be the problem?

MSN bot is pretty slow, and the fact that is it not detected by phpBB3 does not mean it did not visit your site, since detection cannot be 100% this easy.

The important matter is, is your forum listed in msn search ?

If so, the bot is visiting your pages for sure

I can confirm. MSN visits my site probably 3 to 2 times a week. sometimes not at all. but it crawls for sure.

Yahoo's Slurp visits constantly; in fact, I think it's bots visit more frequently than the visitors it sends. Last I checked, MSN sent less traffic and crawled the site less often than Yahoo. For better or worse, Google's stats dwarf the other search engines, though I have noticed a slight uptick in Yahoo's incoming traffic.

I do wonder about the heavily advertised ask.com search engine. For all the money they spent on TV ads, I would think they'd break the single digit barrier of visitors per day. To their defense, they've integrated some interesting stats into their preview options from compete.com. Pure fiction mind you, but nice eye candy.
