MSN Ranking

I find and I also think that alot of people think that it easy to rank high in MSN, but I have noticed that once you rank high say in google for something you were ranking high in MSN then the rankings start to drop, its like as if google rank for other things.

Has any one else noticed this?

What I noticed with MSN is that new content goes up fast, but goes down again if nothing changed.

For example, I had a page providing good results on MSN, and later on Google too, but dropped down after a while. I added a link to this page on the home page and it cam back up in the MSN SERPs.
After a longer while, started dropping again.

My clues after testing was that I could more or less maintain the page in SEPR if I added links to it, but not always on the same page.
So I think MSN, and Google as well but slower it seems, are "welcoming" new content or content related to new links or just updated, and tend to dislike if nothing changes.

So we need to play with these parameters to maintain a page in the SERPs, that's why growth in pages and backlinks is an important matter with time.

More pages, more possible links to every pages, thus the possibility to maintain some link growth for our important content.
