Hacking attempt when changing ACP settings.Posted: Sat Aug 05, 2006 8:37 am    Post subject: Hacking attempt when changing ACP settings.

Please help, after the upgrade to 2.7.7, I can not change settings in my ACP. I get a "Hacking attmpt!" message. I saw that a few others over at mx-sytem.com had the same problem and unfortunatly, no one has given a solution... yet. any ideas?

::edit:: More spesificly, in the Page Setting when saving a 'settings' configuration. edits work fine. everything else works OK.

Have you tried to disable register_globals ?

This thread on mx-system.com will help out : http://www.mx-system.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=50604#50604

Ah, well this Fix seemed to do the trick. surprisingly, the .htaccess did not. I will probably ask my hosting to make sure if php.ini is 'ok' to have in my directory. thanks dcz, have a good weekend. Smile
