i'm done with suprises already. 
dcz, I know you've been pretty busy with your phpbb-SEO site. are you still in the development team over there? it looks as though they are keeping a lot of the old modules.
As MHobbit wrote; we have many official modules, old and new, that will be released around the same time as 2.8.0 is released.
I am now thinking that I may just upgrade to 2.8.x sooner then I thought.  |

2.8.x will be SEO friendly right? I thought I read something to that over at the main site a long while ago.
Anyway, that will be something to look forward to as well as the the improved cache to the system.

Good, good. To my surprise there is not an offical "features list" on the site. an older one was posted, thats about it. 
Do you know if the pages id's are still the same, will our old id pages work with the new portal?
I think I read once from you that Simple sub forums was possible with mxbb version of the forum. I am tempted to use mxbb version of the forum.. will it be too dificult to 301 phpbb forum to mxbb version of the forum? or should we avoid using mxbb forum module? |

Due to the fact that 2.8.0 has actually been in a state of development over about 3 years now Jon's never gotten round to updating the Feature list, though we may do someday
It's been a very fluid process developing mx and unfortunatly it therefore lack in some areas, like Docs.

Are you referring to the phpBB intergration? mx_phpbb.
In which case a 301 is un-needed as all requests are automatically redirected to the mx script...
