yes the sub forums are working it seems all ok

It seems that any forum wiht no posts is redirected to the index page??

is this my fault with htaccess or correct?

nope it's normal behaviour, and not that bad actually

I will continue testing but I am 99% sure the sub forum feature is working fine, 100% sure the basics are working.

I have other questions but on other issues and so will make seperate topics for them; as they will surely be asked and searched for by others in the future.

Because if so we have to take care about maintaining or not your actual URL standard.
