Spam help

Ive seen a few topics about this but being a complete noob at phpBB makes my life hard,

Im getting somewhere between 5 - 20 bots a day register, im banning the emails, user names, ips everything you can imagine but they still register,

Is there an easy mod that i can install that will go onto the register section to stop them from being able to register?

The better captcha mod can give pretty good results as well, to fight against automated registrations.

Installed in no time as well Very Happy

Ok,

ive looked at both but im sitll none the wiser how to install them,

It took me nearly 2 weeks to actually get the forum working,

Can anyone offer some assitance in combating this please

Besides, the better captcha mod's install is really basic, you just need to find and replace a single line of code and upload files.
