signatures

I have a mod installed that enables me to enable or disable peoples signatures.

In my forum rules I have stated that a sig link must not be added until you have posted 100 posts, this is to deter spammers.

By default when someone joins their sig is enabled and often they place a sig link and then I have to either remove it or ban them.

Is there a way to make it so that the sig is disabled by default?

I would try modifying user_add(...) in functions_user.php.
