Problem i have 2 .htaccess

Ok here is my problem , i have a website at

www.canadiensdemontreal.ca wich have already a .htaccess for url rewriting for the main website.

I have installed the mod on my forum wich is ina subfolder name forum, i have done every modification.

I cant upload another .htaccess because my seo of the main site wont work, and if i try to mod the existing .htaccess , either my forum work good with the rewriting but my main site wont rewrite , or the inverse ...

is anyone had this prob ?

Edit : Ok my problem is solved , but i have another one il ask later

Thank dcz , i have also a english version of this website , but anyway , i have found the solution , i have put my forum in a subdomain wich is now http://forum.canadiensdemontreal.ca

And now everything go perfect.

I have been in french to for a diff problem !
