Google say is not compatible when i validate sitemap in http://www.smart-it-consulting.com/internet/google/submit-validate-sitemap/index.htm
Schema validating with XSV 2.10-1 of 2005/04/22 13:10:49
Schema validator crashed
The maintainers of XSV will be notified, you don't need to
send mail about this unless you have extra information to provide.
If there are Schema errors reported below, try correcting
them and re-running the validation.

Same problem with google after install gym_sitemapsV1-2-0RC2
Sitemap validator return ok:

| I put the php and the rewrite xml and same result.If u remember also i have the same error with mx Google Sitemaps V 1.0.1 |

This is not the proper url to submit, nothing in what you answer tells me you did understand this fact.
So please make sure you do submit the proper file to Google, eg sitemap.php (and not sitemaps.php) or sitemaps.xml (and not sitemaps.html).
The sitemap cannot really validate and not be valid at the same time, I really think you're confusing between files.

Yes i understand that i put sitemap.xml and sitemap.php whith same result sitemaps.html o sitmaps.php is the another mod.

So I guess that if you did not submit the proper file as it seems and you made sure till then to submit the real one (not only validating) then, the error will go away.
It's just that these are not updated every 5 minutes, so they can stay listed longer than the error itself in you Google account.
Let's wait and see then
