Upgrading from phpbb2 Adv mod to phpbb3 Adv mod???

Hi DCZ. I have installed phpbb2 with advanced mod rewrite and other multiple mods of yours. Im planning to upgrade to phpbb 3.0 with advanced mod rewrite. I download your premod package.

How can i do that without loosing my 22000 google indexed pages? there is a big change in the forum urls or will remain the same??

if the urls change the idea is to add 301 redirection on all the urls. in order to not loose any traffic or indexed pages.

Can you please clarify this to me??

Since your forum previously was using mod rewritten urls, we'll have to do some personalized redirecting (adding rewriterules).

Since these will depend on both your old and new urls, I suggest you start with converting and then decide which type of url to use with phpBB3 (could be very similar to the phpBB2 ones if you want) and once you are ready for the great jump (before the final conversion), post here to tell us which type of url you'll be using together with your phpBB3 .htaccess and I'll tell you which rewriterule to add in your case Smile
