Hello and thanks for the last fast and helpful answer!
Right now, my issue is .htaccess as it is written after the settings.
When I proceed, I know it's uploaded to the cache folder, but I am not sure where it goes eventually, or does it have to stay there?
Is it correct that I have to keep on trying various settings 'til I find the .htaccess that actually works?
Thanks! |

It typically goes in the "root" directory of your website.

Not sure what you mean by this, but I recommend testing locally using xampp or equivalent. Once you have it working to your satisfaction locally, upload the changed files to your live board. IMHO, it's crazy to change a live board without testing first! |

Thanks again!
I am not really crazy, since the forums aren't live yet!
The point is that it appears that you have to test settings someway randomly, if I haven't misunderstood..... |
