delete cache? robots.txt? redirect from old URLs

Hello,
Thanks all for this software, it is awesome. I successfully have the premod working at www.brewersroundtable.com/forum . I have a quick question about some final things.

1. Which feature is it that redirects all the old urls to the new ones? The old forum URLs still work when I manually type them into the browser window.
2. Do I need to delete the files in the cache folder?
3. Is there anything else that I need to do with the robots.txt at this point?

Since your forum was not previously using any mod rewrite, you just need to activate the zero duplicate in ACP, and to set "post redirections" to at least "guests".

About the robots.txt, do has told in the install file, wait couple months before you implement it, because for now, only your old urls do exists for Google and friends : http://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Abrewersroundtable.com%2Fforum

So you do not want to disallow these before you have redirected them all Wink

If you want, you can activate the SID removing option in ACP too, bot will never see any and will be redirected is they use one, but in case you are wondering why user can, you can get rid of these too Wink

Thanks for the reply. I will do that. By the way, this premod is working great! My traffic has pretty much doubled!
