Great Mod staff as quick as a week. Just checking because so many other mods take months for the development team to update.
Thanks

I just updated my (slighty modded) phpBB-SEO Premod board from 3.0.1 to 3.0.2
- Backup all your files
- First i renamed the functions.php file to functions.php.bak
- Then i uploaded a standard functions.php file to the corect place (from the phpbb download i used the file).
- I downloaded the auto update package and extracted
- I uploaded the install and docs folders to the phpbb_root
- I disabled my board from the ACP
- I navigated to the install dir with the browser and ran the autoupdate.
- The updater did all his stuff succesfully, only 2 files it said were problems
- I choose the "Use original file and use new code in problems blocks"
- I then downloaded the "Code changes package" from phpBB and apllied the changes required for functions.php, on the functions.php.bak file (remember we renamed it).
- I then verified the 2 problematic files (from the updater) all changes seemed correct.
- Change the functions.php.bak file back to functions.php
- Test your board
All works fine for me !
ps: I forgot, if you have other language then english, you have to apply the code changes for your other language files manually. English should be auto updated. |

But i can't replace my files since i have a modded board (gallery, portal).
Do you guys provide an update function or a code changes file ?
I'm planning on installing your GYM sitemap&RSS mod, should i wait until the next premod update because i read somewhere it will be in there ?
But if there are no plans for update function or code changes i would add it manually from the seperate download package for GYM. |

| SeO wrote: | Well yes, we do provide an automatic and a changed file only update package, just like phpBB does, but with all our mod updates already taken into account, so that's still some work saved |
Thanks i'll wait for the GYM until your update package.
ps: Keep up the great work |
