I had two things that I wanted to do; using the WordPress Header and installing this SEO mod and I’m failing miserable.

It’s saying approximately 15 minutes for each mod’s but it took me 3 days and several reinstalls and I’m sick of it.

I have no doubt that it is the mod or the forum because I’ve already learned so much here.

I know my way around Wordpress but that’s it. I never installed a forum, this combined with my lack of php knowledge and maybe my lack of tech “talk”. This is turning out to be a real nightmare, maybe I’ve sat behind the computer to much the past day’s that I can’t see it clearly but again, I’m sick of it and I want it to work.

There for I want to ask; who wants to earn a few bucks and finish the install of this mod for me?? So far everything seems to work okay so my guess it has to do with the htaccess.

I now did a fresh install of the SEO premod and I have 2 options for you:

1) The install of the Mixed SEO Premod on the style Hestia Blue.

2) The install of the Mixed SEO Premod on the style Prosilver but then with the WordPress header (whether or not with the use of WP united, that’s up to you).

If I like you, your price and your service I want to work more with you. I have a high traffic blog and if I can convert this traffic into forum users I want a lot more done like integrating adsense, bookmarking tools, country flags etc etc. I will pay you for every mod that you install for me. And I’ve we can come to a nice future “relation” I’ll also give you some nice premium link love from various blogs.

Keep faith, this should be doable, but it may be time to define a bit more accurately what do you want to do exactly.

The main thing to deal with is user sharing between wp and phpBB. If you are not using wp users to much, eg if most of your user are replying as guests in wp, you could keep wp user and phpBB user separate, it would be simpler, but with less possibilities in the future.

It's based on WP united and will work with the premod.

Then, about your two questions, it's only dealing with styling, question 1) is very easy to solve, you'd just need to mod the Hestia Blue templates files a bit, like the mod does for either prosilver or subsilver2 (depending on which one the them is based on). Usually, there is not much to adapt, you can post a link to where the Hestia Blue theme is officially released if you need help for this.
For question 2), and apart from wp united which needs to be dealt with separately, it's only a styling matter.
Implementing the same style on WP and phpBB should not be very difficult, but it depends on what do you want to do. soaknfused's site is a pretty good example of a successful style sharing between wp and phpbb : http://www.linmo.org/

About having someone to do it for you, just make sure you backup everything first and update you account passwords after you did so (as a general precaution). I'm pretty sure that, with patience and support, you could do it yourself.
The important matter at this stage would be to define more precisely what you'd like to do, before you start doing it or have someone to do it for you.

As dcz said, with patience and perhaps some help it can be accomplished. If you are stumped, have read the instructions and still can't get it sorted please provide more information and I will gladly help you get it sorted. I'd rather help someone who attempts to help themselves and do it for free, if you want a paid solution to simply get it off your plate there are ways to accomplish that as well, but honestly you can do it.
