|
|
I instaled SEO premoded phpbb 3.0.2 and used .htaccess as created by SEO mod. I don't get any blank pages or 404 errors so far but I did discover a few issues so far.
1.) jump to page
when some topic has mulitple pages, jump to page doesn't work ...I don't get that small pop-up window anymore to type in the number of page to jump to.
Clicking on jump to page link takes me to main forum index page
2.) view more smileys
Well, here I also don't get that small pop-up window anymore, instead more smiley window opens in same window and you clicking on smiley or even on close window link does nothing. I must navigate back using the browser back navigation button.
3.) bbcode font color
So far I found all bbcode to work ok but the one for choosing the font color. Clicking on it does nothing.
-------
A few things to not, I am using advanced mod rewrite option, no duplizates, zero duplicates, dynamic meta generator ...you could say I am using all SEO mods because I really thing they offer so much
I created a test user if someone would find the time to take a peak look.

user: Test
pass: test_user
Before I posted this topic I read many topics on this forum but somehow didn't find anything related. I hope you can help me. |

| Hmm ...then it must be a problem with some other mod perhaps, not from phpBB SEO. I did used some validated mods for 3.0.2 from phpBB.com, any idea what to look for? |

Well ..it turned out that somehow there was some small error in my forum_fn.js file
I am using prosilver SE template, so I had to apply some SEO mods to the template files, and I found where I had a typo

/**
* Mark/unmark checklist
* id = ID of parent container, name = name prefix, state = state [true/false]
*/ |
By mistake I had deleted that red part of code ...so that was causing my problems. |

Well I still have a problem with jump to page it seems ...a small pop-up window opens like it should, but when you type some number of page you want to go to, it doesn't work. No error note, you it just doesn' do nothing.
I have reinstaled test SEO premoded 3.0.2. with prosilver to check, it works there ...any help where to look for solution to my issue? |

| Solved that issue as well, it turned out to be a problem because I decided not to use url that ends with .html ...once I changed this back to .html and modified .htaccess file everything was fine. |

| Yes I am using prosilver special edition, but I am really checked everything if I missed something there. special edition template is basicaly the same as prosilver ...just .css and imageset is a bit diffrent, template files are the same I think ...or should be the same. |
