Error with

When i go...

-www.mysite.it/forum/phpbb_seo/phpbb_seo_install.php

the installation don't work! 500 Internal Server Error

suggestion?

mm. Do you have an .htaccess with trewriterules in forum/ or in the domain's root dir ?

Are you logged as admin when you do so ?

i describe step to step my 2 type of installation:

First installation:

1) I delete all files from database & server
2) I install PHPBB 3.0 (www.phpbb.com)
3) I upload the old database (config.php is the old file)

the forum work perfectly (without any modify)

4) i download adv_phpbb3_mod_rewriteV0-4-0.zip
5) i upload the /root/ files and the premodded file
in /contrib/phpBB_3.0.0_modified_files/file to my forum
6) i changhe CHMOD the phpbb_seo/cache/ folder to 0777;
7) i Empty the phpBB/cache/ folder : just delete all files EXCEPTS the .htaccess.
8 ) I go to www.bubz.it/forum/phpbb_seo/phpbb_seo_install.php

and now the error: 500 Internal Server Error

Second installation

1) i delete all files from database & server
2) I install PHPBB 3.0 Seo Premod
3) I upload the old database (config.php is the old file)

but:

the forum work perfectly except i don'have in acp the PHP SEO and i don't have nothing of SEO in database.

Solution:

First installation:???

Second installation: do you have the query to create the SEO configuration in my old database?

With the second solutions, you still need to do what's described in this post : http://www.phpbb-seo.com/boards/phpbb-seo-premod/discussions-vt1962.html#13688

This imply to be able to run the phpbb_seo_install.php script.

Now, this does not tells us why the 500, but. Give it a try, there is no obvious reason why you should experience this.
