The forum you selected does not exist - Error

I've looked through the forum, but the solutions to this issue haven't worked for me. I have a forum setup in phpbb3 using the Advanced seo mod rewrite. When the url is clicked for the location such as:

http://staging.forums.parentsociety.com/educating-our-youth/

I get the message:

The forum you selected does not exist

When I switch off the rewrite the forums work fine. My .htaccess file is:

The phpbb_cache.php file has the correct parameters for each of the urls and how they map to the forum ids. The cache has been cleared, but still no luck. Any clues or help ?

Can anyone help on this? I'm sure there is something that's set wrong on my end, but I'm a bit in a bind as I need to get this resolved. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
