Phpbb3 Optimization and Mod Problem

Could anyone help me pls about the below questions of mine? I searched so much but I can not understand pls explain clearly.

1) I have phpbb3 forum I made , how can I make optimization for search engines? what are required?

2) Should I install seo mod ? How can I do that pls write clearly.

3) Mod installation basics.

although the php is god for search engines but if u installd oen of the seo mods here:

u can increase it.
