I've done some searching around on the forum and found the following Thread:

It I am looking at using this "quick hack" that is not realated to the MOD mentioned in the thread. I want to display some "recent" posts outside of my phpbb3 directory throughout my site.
How do I implement this little script? I tried sticking in my forum directory in a file called "recent_test.php" and then calling the script, but I get no output. Is their a trick? I'm not very familiar with how phpbb works....
