Hello

I have installed a forum in a directory called forum.

The link to the forum is

I have placed the following htaccess file in the forum

Now the main arcade script is doing fine the forum index is also fine but when you go to the specific forum it gives a 404 error.

Please go to the site and look at the problem.

Looks like you fixed the problem. Everything is working fine for me and the URLS look like they are all being rewritten properly.

Post back here if your still having problems.

I placed a modified htacess file in the root only that serves both the forum and my gaming script (Arcadem Pro).

You should add a L flag to your arcade rewriterules, so that if they match an uri, the other rewriterules will not be tested after.

RewriteRule ^article-([0-9]+)-([^/]+)/?$ index.php?article=$1&name=$2 [L]

I as well replaced the dots (. in regex stands for any string) with [^/] (anything but a slash) which will be faster and safer and should be enough for your usage.
