after 2 months: problem with links in subforumsPosted: Wed Sep 10, 2008 8:40 pm    Post subject: after 2 months: problem with links in subforums

Hi,

I've been running the seo mod for 2 months now and everything worked fine.
But now, suddenly, there is some linking problem. (I didn't change anything within the last time, just some lines in template files)
I can open the main website of the forum url.com/forum, no problem, but when entering a subforum or thread, all links are somehow fucked up. This includes links to css files and images, I don't have the normal view of the forum.
The best thing to demonstrate is this: When I'm in the fucked up subforum (e.g. url.com/forum/section1/ [section1 is a virtual directory by the seo mod] and I click "FAQ", I get "The requested URL was not found on this server.". The thing is, when I look at the URL, I can see the browser tried to open url.com/forum/section1/faq.php (!), but this can't work, it must be url.com/forum/faq.php. The problem is, in the sourcecode, the FAQ link is ./faq.php .. so the problem is, when I click a ./example.php link, it tries to open it in the virtual folder where I am (url.com/forum/section1/), but it must open it in the real directory (url.com/forum).

For 2 months it's been working fine, now suddenly this problem. What can be wrong? I tried to empty cache a 100 times meanwhile..

THANKS!

You most likely messed up with the overall_header.html template, make sure you have :
Code:
{SEO_BASE_HREF}

right after :
Code:
<head>

in there Wink
