I installed advanced mod rewrite and zero duplicates for PHPBB3. Everything looked fine. Then, just for fun, I ran the W3C Validation tool on my page (http://validator.w3.org/) to see if PHPBB3 was compliant. The tool generated lots of errors. mostly from SIDs in the URL. http://phpbb3.phpbb-seo.net/ does too, so I'm assuming I installed everything correctly.
So my question is, have I found a bug? Does the validator see things the way Google and Yahoo are going to see them? This seems like it would not be good for SEO. |

Is there a "quick fix" for this? I'd like to get it fixed if possible. I've taken a look at the code but can't sort it out.
A dodgy solution is to replace all "&" with "&" but that is very dodgy... Is it something I have to change in function append_sid()?
Any help appreciated! |

Thank you for the update, but I am running on phpBB 2.0.22. Is there an estimated release date for this fix, in terms of phpBB2? |
