When I activate zero dupe my forum index (not index.php, already rewritten) /forum/ return 301 redirect. This is quite odd because the default index is /forum/ and it doesn't have to be 301?
I don't want to activate it right now because of this little problem, so I would appriciate an answer of this question.
Thanks

By default, example.com/phpbb/index.php will be http 301 redirected to example.com/phpbb/, you can do the opposite and force the use of example.com/phpbb/index.php or example.com/phpbb/forum.html or whatever you want as explained in the install.
If you just logged in, you are redirected to an url with SID, so in such case, you end up being redirected once more after logg in.
If you test example.com/phpBB/ with web sniffer, you'll see an http 301 redirection, but this only means that the web sniffer tool does not accept cookies. It's not an seo threat since it won't occur for SEs and most users.
This behaviour will change in the next version, but it's safe to use it as is.
