Quick question, I know the answers probably just wait longer, but was just curious what you all might think..
I have been listed in google, yahoo, and about ten other search engines for over two months now.. Why haven't ask.com or hotbot or lycos indexed my site yet? I have over 1000 pages indexed in google and yahoo and about 20 quality incoming links..
Do they have to find it by crawling cause i can't see a way to submit my site to them..
Thanks again

The real wonder is : are these SEs worth it ?
Most SE (not the top3 ones) are usually very slow in indexing, and even more when it comes to start indexing a new site.
Since what is good for the majors is good for them too, they will end up listing your site, but I don't think you should spend to much effort specifically on these since it will probably not make a big difference as far a time won and because these will far bring you less visitors than the top three SE. |

Yeah i agree, but was just curious.. I have submitted to dmoz.org but it always seems like it take 12 months for them to even check out your site.. I have list clients with them over 1 and half years ago and they still aren't listed.. I think that feeds hotbot and others..
Just a waiting game |
