remove unnecessary links from index?

Before I found phpbb-seo, I was reading able2know's site and there was a bit of information that sounded interesting. Wondered if any techniques had been implemented for that feature here, or if it really was even all that useful.

1) Remove the "View Latest Post" icon and link on index.php
2) Make the date of the last post link to the last post like the icon did on index.php
3) Unlink the username of the last post on index.php
4) Remove listing of moderators on index.php

6) Unlink the username of the last post on viewforum.php
7) Remove the "View Latest Post" icon and link on viewforum.php

Lots of things mentioned on that mod that I wanted your opinion on. Does the SEO advanced rewrite, google sitemaps, cyberaliens sid script do all of these things or at least make them obsolete?

The able2know method was far the best for the link handling, but if you look at how things are done on this web site, you see different choices where made.

SO for 1), 2) and more, I'll just add the same support as per this site in the Zero duplicate release.
For the useless links, will optionally get rid of all user profile links for guests, I think I'll leave the signature and www link for guest, but rather will limit their output to a certain amount of posts. It's not kind not to offer any backlinks Wink

All other tweaks are rather of a small impact IMHO, but you can as well implement all of them, they'll work with the phpBB SEO mod rewrite.
