|
|
I have installed PHPBB3.0.1 and would like to make spiders, bots or crawlers for my forum website.
I have some knowledge about Googlebot and Sitemap and other Search Engine bots.
But I don't know What I should do with PHPBB3.0.1 , even though I have seen Spiders/Robots configuration in PHPBB3.0.1. I don't know how effective it is because my Googlebots , sitemap, and other Search Engine bots knowledge are different with Spiders/Robots configuration in PHPBB3.0.1. I don't know what I should do next.
So Could anyone help explain me how to get successful configure spiders, bots or crawlers for my forum web site?
Thank you in advance
You help will be highly appreciated.....
Best Regards, |

The phpBB bots handling is not in itself an optimization, the only interesting thing it does from an SEO point of view is to get rid of SIDs.
The problem with phpBB3 and as always with phpBB is duplicates, there are a lot, and with phpBB3 URLs have even become more complex.
So you may want to give a try to our SEO premod, to see all the possibilities we offer to SEO phpBB, and then either use it or install you own selection of mods. The seo premod is easy to install and you'll be able to easily test all our mods at once |
