Is there a tool that lets you easily change the CSS file so that the colour scheme works etc? Basically I want an easy fix to avoid this sort of thing happening!

As you can probably see from that, it looks a little like a bad rainbow. Not what I intended.

heh... You could use this tool here; http://draac.com/colorconvert.html where it says "HEX:" enter the #colour, click on "Convert to RGB" and the background of the page will give you a preview of what you put down. I dunno if you might find that useful, but at least it lets you know what you your using in the css file.
