How to index more pages in Yahoo ?

Hello,

Can any one tell how to get indexed more pages in Yahoo? Because for my site Google have indexed 11,000 pages whereas, Yahoo have indexed only 40 pages

Any idea so that Yahoo may start indexing my site like Google does so...

Well, from where I stand it's already 160 indexed pages at Yahoo for the forum, and many are already listed rewritten.

So it's pretty common that Yahoo takes quite more time than Google and even MSN to really start crawling a web site.

There is not much we can do about it, I mean, what's good for Google and msn is as well good for yahoo SEO wise, so it's mostly up to them.
It's pretty sure that if you pay the couple hundred $$ to get listed in the yahoo directory, you'll get indexed faster.

Then, the problem with yahoo, depends of courses, but, quite some time, it's bots brings more visits than it brings visitors. Yahoo is really a heavy crawler, often crawling with dozen of different IPs.

But oh well, quite similar to msn, we can just hope these two get more used in the future

Thanks for the reply with such great information. After i made it public it have made indexed 160 pages and before that it was only 40-44 max. The idea you gave me to spend $200-300 to submit my website into Yahoo Directory so I will submit there by paying them so that they may index my site more properly and with more pages.

I did not say it was necessarily worth it, because with time yahoo will full crawl your site in all cases, just longer without paying, but it won't necessarily bring much visitors.

It all depend on how is yahoo used by the type of user you're seeking (languages and countries).
