|
|
I created some new pages on my site about more than 2 months ago but it seems that yahoo just doesent want to index that page ... I have pretty much all the pages indexed and it spiders the home page but just doesnt get to my new page ... and the new page is only one level down to the home page ... so I cant even say that its deep burried ... and I dont want to opt for Site Match ... does any one know what I can do to get yahoo and see that page ...
thanks

It seem yahoo usually needs a lot more time than the other search engines (Google and msn) to start getting interested with a new web site, or in new "parts" (meaning new folder) in a existing web site, at least if it's not deeply indexed yet.
It's kind of a filter to avoid spending resources on web site that do not last online, I guess.
As well, I guess that as they sell their yahoo directory submission, it could be a way to increase submissions when people are on a rush.
For phpBB SEO, it's obvious yahoo did wait almost 5 month to really start indexing it, and now it's crawling the site like crazy and results start showing up.
This one I like it particularly : seo on yahoo.fr
