Hi DCZ, as you know i solve my problem installing advanced mod rewrite SEO.
So now I install zerodupe. I test it and 301 on misspelled urls. All fine. Well i think, if you could check that i will appreciate.
But i have a little problem.
Try to go here:
http://www.genteca.com.ve/foro/ Not works
now here:
http://www.genteca.com.ve/foro/index.php Not works
BUT
http://www.genteca.com.ve/foro/index.html YES IT WORKS.
I think that all the previous urls must work and be redirected.
Im using the standard .htaccess for advanced mod rewrite.
Any idea??
When you post something, you wont be redirected to the post. the post try to load but nothing happens. Try to post something and you see. This same redirection problem occurs when you login or logout. If you login and write password, later you have to ciclk on the logo to go the index and see your nick logged. All redirections are not working.
I want to update this post with this: when i try to visit some misspelled url nothing happens. Is this right?or the forum have to redirect to somewhere?
For example visit:
http://www.genteca.com.ve/foro/test-forumfdgdfgdfgdfgdfg-1-f1.html

I confirm there si a problem.
Make sure of few things, is you domain name exactly : "www.genteca.com.ve" in phpBB config ?
Because the redirect is correct, but the target url isn't :
http://www.genteca.com.ve/foro/test-forumfdgdfgdfgdfgdfg-1-f1.html
| Quote: | | Location: http://:/test-forum-1-f1.html |
So, I just found a possible cause for this dealing with the declared PHPBB_URL constant, under some circumstances, it won't be properly declared, it should be only the case if it's declared more than once, but, looks like sometime one time is enough to fail erf.
Anyway, the quick fix is to replace :
With your actual forum url eg :
| Code: | | "http://www.genteca.com.ve/" |
in your case, with the " , every time you'll find it in the zero dupe mod code changes in phpBB files (do not change phpbb_seo_class.php).
It should work and actually I think this was our issue since the very beginning.
