phpBB SEO MOD - topic prefix in SEO URL

Postby Vogelek23 » Sat Jul 19, 2014 3:02 pm

Hello all,

I have a small problem.
I'm using this MOD to serve a topic prefixes in some subforums: https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/mod/ ... refix_mod/
Above MOD was installed before phpBB SEO MOD.

Is there a method to put the topic prefix together with topic title into the SEO URL? I don't know where is the part of code (of SEO MOD), which generates the topic URL for topic title (example.com/topic-title-tXXXX.html). I want to URL looks like this: example.com/topic_prefix-topic-title-tXXXX.html.
Please for any help.

Regards,
Łukasz

Try replacing :

Code: Select all
$url = preg_replace('`\[.*\]`U','',$url);

with :

Code: Select all
//$url = preg_replace('`\[.*\]`U','',$url);

in phpbb_seo/phpbb_seo_class.php
Useful links :

Thank you for reply, dear Admin.
I suppose that you didn't understood me a little. The "topic_prefix" variable, which i need to add to SEO URL, is saved in a separated cell in database, not together in the "topic_title" cell.

Look at the example URL: http://www.elvikom.pl/sony-vaio-vpcf23s ... 34663.html
As you can see, the topic prefix is displayed together with topic title, in the topic title link and page header (don't worry about square brackets, they are added by php code - in the database, the "topic_prefix" column is a clean text).
But if you look into the address bar or move the pointer over the topic title link, there is only topic title in SEO URL, without topic prefix. Now i need to ADD the topic prefix into the SEO URL - like that:
Code: Select all
http://www.elvikom.pl/szukam-wsadu-bios-sony-vaio-vpcf23s1e-pcg-81313m-t34663.html

I hope you understand me now.
